VICKIE ENDORSES The Public Access Protection Act-2023
This bill was tabled in the last legislative session. It needs to be revisited and even expanded.
Landowners in many locations throughout Idaho are blocking general access to public lands that are located partially or wholly within their property boundaries.
Where there is no justifiable reason to block access, Idahoans should be able to use State and Federal lands without barrier or obstruction.
A case in point is the landowner in Central Idaho who has built a gate across a BLM road easement to block long time hunters from BLM land.
